“We all have the duty to do good.”
– Pope Francis

Thank you for your interest in exploring opportunities to volunteer with Catholic Charities Southwestern Ohio. Catholic Charities offers opportunities for families, teens, individuals, seniors and groups to volunteer to make an immediate impact on the lives of those in need. By working with Catholic Charities, families grow closer, teens earn service hours, and individuals and seniors use their gifts to live out the Gospels in serving the poor, protecting the vulnerable and welcoming the stranger.

To be a volunteer for Catholic Charities is to bear witness for Christ to those in need in our community regardless of their faith.

A basic moral test is how our most vulnerable members are faring. In a society marred by deepening divisions between rich and poor, we recall the story of the Last Judgment (Mt 25:31-46) which instructs us to put the needs of the poor and vulnerable first.
