POSITION TITLE: HR Administrative Assistant
DEPARTMENT: Human Resources
REPORTS TO: HR Director
WORK HOURS: 37.5 hours/week
WORK LOCATION: Mid-Pointe, Cincinnati OH
FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt
Position Summary: Provide administrative support to the day-to-day operations of the Human Resource Department, including assistance in the recruitment process. In addition, this position will provide administrative support to the Caregiver Assistance Network program.
Essential Job Functions:
Provides various HR functions including but not limited to the following:
Create, post and manage internal and external postings for open positions; conduct pre-screens and partner with program directors to conduct and/or coordinate initial interviews when deemed required; composes all offer letters for signature and conducts all background checks and employment references for selected candidates; Completes all employment data into ATS system for tracking for AAP purposes; Conducts all new hire orientations; Inputs relevant information into Paycor regarding tracking and running reports for performance evaluations and sends monthly reports to supervisors.as required; Process documentation and prepare reports related to HR activities (EEO, AAP, etc.); Assist with participation in salary and benefit surveys and maintains personnel files, EEO paperwork and I-9 files; Assist in creating employee communications (letters, flyers, new hire orientation packets, engagement activities, training’s, etc.); Prepares schedule for agency’s reception area and serves on receptionist rotation while coordinating all logistics for the main reception window; Assists with Volunteer Duties that are administratively required for the Volunteers program; Assists Caregivers Assistance Program Director with administrative support with database entries, maintains monthly files and performs various other administrative tasks as deemed required by the CAN supervisor; assists with CAN events and classes offered by the CAN network.
Performs other related duties as deemed required:
- Associate/Bachelor’s Degree; SHRM-CP/ PHR certification preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience performing administrative duties.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
- Prior experience in database management; Paycor preferred
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Superior time management skills and the ability to prioritize work.
- Bi-lingual in Spanish preferred
