Position Summary

The Data Management Support Specialist assists with data maintenance, program data collection, data analysis, and monitoring of outcomes and key processes. This role uses Agency databases and reporting tools to help track goals and measure program performance across Catholic Charities Southwestern Ohio.

Essential Job Functions: 

  1. Work with the Director of Quality and Performance, the COO, the Director of IT, the Executive Team, and program staff to evaluate, improve, and modernize agency tracking and reporting systems, including the formatting and delivery of standard reports and dashboards.
  2. Build and maintain familiarity with program services and operations across the agency.
  3. Attend and participate in monthly Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) meetings.
  4. Collect, prepare, and distribute all operating reports.
  5. Collaborate with external Salesforce vendors and support the ongoing buildout and implementation of Salesforce, including system design, functionality, reporting, and dashboards.
  6. Assist with cleansing, profiling, and transforming system data for migration projects and Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) initiatives.
  7. Support quality management functions and data needs, ensuring all reporting and documentation deadlines are met.
  8. Assist in preparing reports, documents, and other required materials.
  9. Respond to internal and external requests for information, including report status and file details.
  10. Analyze and present data to support programmatic and operational decision making, improve agency efficiency, and promote transparency and collaboration.
  11. Complete other projects assigned by the supervisor or COO.

Qualifications and Skills Requirements:

  1. Exceptional attention to detail.
  2. Ability to work with multiple program leaders to obtain, clarify, report, and analyze program data.
  3. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and Salesforce.
  4. College level course work in Microsoft systems (or information technology) and Business Analyst and/or data analyst or equivalent training and experience or equivalent training and experience.
  5. Proficiency in developing Excel spreadsheets
  6. Ability to manage multiple projects in adherence to deadlines while also maintaining a degree of flexibility to meet immediate needs.
  7. Solid oral and written communication skills.
  8. College level course work in business analytics and/or data analyst preferred or equivalent training and experience.
