Kindred Companions

Program Overview

In July 2025, Pope Leo XIV called on every parish and church group to become part of a “revolution of care and gratitude” by regularly visiting older people. Kindred Companions is a faith-driven initiative that empowers volunteers to walk alongside older adults, helping them age in place with dignity, purpose and connection. Rooted in Catholic social teaching, we foster relationships that honor the sacredness of every life and strengthen the community.
